Permanent magnets can be used in all sectors because they are completely independent of an external power supply. A deliberate twisting influences the magnets so that the poles are not magnetic. Switching to position ‘I’ directs the lines of magnetic flux through the load, generating a magnetic effect. This effect is cancelled when the switch is returned to the ‘0’ position. The lifting magnet is composed of standardised components, comprising a reversing magnet system (rotating), the magnetic poles and the magnet assembly which is located inside the unit.
